  1. General Race Rules

    EACH DRIVER NEEDS A RACE ENTRY FEE PLUS PIT PASS.

    EACH TUNER OR SPECTATOR NEED A PIT PASS.

    Minimum of 4 drivers per class. Each class must run a minimum of 4 races each series.

    OGP Drivers are excluded from points championships and awards. Drivers include: Dylan Gennaro and Zachary Hollingshead.

    Classes include, but are not limited to Kid Karts, Briggs 206, Rotax and ROK/Vortex. We will combine classes when necessary and score each class separately. We welcome any and all karts designed to run on asphalt/ concrete, including oval karts.

    Welcome to the Ocala Gran Prix Local and Rotax Series

    • The Ocala Gran Prix Local series use the WKA Manufactures cup and points format
    • All spec 110, 98, 93 fuel must be purchased from Ocala Gran Prix
    • All 4 - cycle 90 ethanol free fuel must be purchased from Ocala Gran Prix
    • Rotax classes uses US Rmax challenge rules spec VP 93 fuel
    • MiniMax minimum wheelbase 1010mm.
    • Shifter classes uses SKUSA rule open tire Spec VP110
    • Tag classes use TAGUSA rules.
    • All other classes use WKA Manufactures Cup Rules
    • Ocala Gran Prix Local series uses NKA Insurance and the event is in no way affiliated with WKA
    • 50 bonus points for running all races in a series.
    • There is one drop allowed per series, excluding those racers going for the scholarship.
    • THE CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES IS ABSOLUTELY PROHIBTED IN ALL OCALA GRAN PRIX EVENTS UNTIL THE EVENT IS DECLARED FINISHED FOR THE DAY.
    • PROTEST FEE: $75.00 NON REFUNDABLE
